What happens to a childs ContactPoint record once they reach adulthood?
Data is archived once a child reaches 18 (25 for those children leaving care or with special needs – with their consent). This archived data will only be accessible by ContactPoint managers within the local authority. The archived data will only be accessible for 6 years afterwhich it will be deleted.
