What happens once the National Plan of Action is submitted to the United Nations?
• Canada’s National Plan of Action will be a call to action for all Canadians. It will serve as a useful framework to guide the actions of all Canadians in addressing the needs of children. • As an element of the National Plan of Action, the appropriate monitoring measures are currently being considered, using the feedback that was sought through our consultation activities. • It is recognized that governments and civil society will have an important role in monitoring the implementation of the National Plan of Action.
