What happens once a person passes the PTCE?
If a candidate sits for and passes the PTCE, they may then use the designation of CPhT or Certified Pharmacy Technician. To continue to hold certification, a CPhT is required to obtain twenty hours of continuing education (this is sometimes referred to as CE) over the following two years and every two years thereafter.
