What happens in the winter? Will the film allow the sun to warm the room?
A. Yes, and no. In the winter, the film will still absorb the heat that enters through the glass. However, the days are shorter and there is minimal heat gain due to the angle of the sun. At night, the film acts much like a thermal barrier. It keeps the artificial heat in, and will not allow it to escape through the glass. Normally, you would lose more heat at night than you would gain during the day. Vista film reverses that and saves you energy.
