The third stage is a combination of the first and second stages to determine winner and ranking of finalists in each category award. The fourth stage is when the Chief Judge overviews the recommendation, process and validates the rankings and winners prior to announcement on the Awards Evening.

Site visits of the four finalists will be carried out by pairs of judges over a five day period. An hour should be set aside for the site visit with the judges. The Chief Judge along with the Event Manager will analyse the final recommendations and either seek further information and clarifications, or ratify the judgment as final. Businesses that exemplify the key principals of business excellence in their category will be determined as award winning. If the final winner cannot be decided upon in any category at the end of stage three the Chief Judge will analyse and finalise the award winner.
