What happens in the nursing simulation lab?
Students come to the nursing simulation center to experience the role of the registered nurse in a safe environment where they can do no harm to real patients. High fidelity simulation is the use of computerized manikins that look real and act real, displaying human physiology such as breathing, heart rates and rhythms, pulses, etc. Manikins talk to you in real time and respond to nursing actions.
