What happens in the afterlife to extremists who kill in such haphazard ways – bombing fellow believers?
The extremists themselves believe they go to “Heaven” and are rewarded for their deeds. Spiritually- the process of dying goes like this: When someone dies, the standard situation is that their body wastes away, their soul returns to the light and their Ego (or personality) goes to the Ancestral plane. Many people describe this process in different ways, but basically, the energy of everything is the soul-essence, and is always part of the light, even when the body is Earthbound. When the body dies, the soul-essence returns to the light because it has nowhere else to go. The Ego of the body is the personality and what we associate as defining someone. If you think of a passed loved one or popular figure in history, you should be able to describe the person in appearance, personality and traits. What you have just thought of is the person’s Ego.
