After the arrest and bond, you will be required to be at a specific court on a specific date for an arraignment. You do not need an attorney for your arraignment but it may be wise to hire an attorney before going into court. The Court will ask if you have a lawyer or wish the Court to appoint you one if you qualify or if you want to waive your right to a lawyer. The charge(s) will be read to you and then the court will set a date for the next court appearance.
