In the event of a disaster, disaster managers and/or first responders will access the SNAP database, determine who in the database is affected or may be affected by the disaster and relay that information to first responders in the area who are coordinating any evacuations of the area. The SNAP database will also be used to determine and plan for any resources that may be needed to assist those individuals in the database affected by the incident.
