What happens in a typical coaching session?
All sessions are uniquely tailored to a client’s particular needs, and incorporate their own philosophical viewpoint. The coaching process begins with a 1 to 2 hour “intake” session, in which Doug and the client(s) design the coaching relationship. The first part of this session is an opportunity to define the project’s goals, priorities, mission and strategy. The second part is to co-create a project plan with key milestones and target dates. You will then begin weekly check-ins (usually 30 minutes) to assure your momentum and focus by looking at your progress, brainstorming on action steps, setting weekly goals, and reconnecting to the inspiration that got you to dream up the project in the first place.
