What Happens in a Tutorial Session?
You and a tutor work side-by-side for 45 minutes, discussing your ideas and your writing, identifying your strengths and weaknesses as a writer, and developing the critical thinking and writing skills that will give you the confidence to become a more effective communicator. Tutors do not “ghostwrite,” or conduct research, or co-author papers. And while they also do not edit or proofread papers for students, they will help you develop those skills for yourself.
