WHAT HAPPENS IN A CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY SESSION?

0

A CranioSacral Therapy session is generally about 60 to 90 minutes in length. The practitioner palpates the body’s craniosacral rhythm using a light touch to evaluate the movement of the cerebral spinal fluid, the bones, and to determine where restrictions are. Then through light touch to the body’s tissues and bones the restrictions are removed, allowing the body to come into balance. Sometimes deep-seated emotions or memories from a past trauma are released. The client is supported in a safe and caring environment to allow these to be released completely. (For more information on emotional release, see the Somato-Emotional Release section.
