What happens in a biofeedback session?
Biofeedback is similar to hypnosis, but I use equipment versus my making suggestions. There is still a lot of imagery involved in biofeedback. For instance, with migraine patients, I would attach a temperature sensor to the fingers and using imagery, you would warm your fingers. This exercise diverts blood flow to the fingers and meanwhile decrease the intensity of the migraine pain. Additionally, I use AVE (Audio Visual Entrainment) equipment. The patient wears headphones and colored glasses, while I set and fine tune a specific program for your particular needs. With the eyes closed, the brain waves are changed between the flashing lights and the tones in the headset. Brain waves can be programmed for enlightenments in stress, energy, sports performance and many other uses.
