What happens if you take the morning after pill after the 72 hours?
Depending on how long after 72 hours you took it. Some reports say it will work up to 120 hours but at a greatly reduced effectiveness. As for the effectiveness, so you will see the chances, if you take it within the first 24 hours then it is 98% effective. If you take it between 25 and 48 hours then it is only 89% effective and if you take it between 49 and 72 hours then it is only 59% effective. So if you take it between 73 and 120 hours it will still be somewhat effective but probably only something like 20%.
