What Happens If You Don Pay a Payday Loan?

If you’re located in the U.S., they can deposit your check, if it comes back insufficient, charge you NSF fees, from there they check your account to get a certified check against your account to get paid, if that doesn’t work, you’re sued, taken to court, default judgment and wages or bank accounts garnished. I do it all the time! Best advise, borrow the money from a family member and pay it off. If you can’t borrow it, set up some type of arrangement to pay. If you are sued, and they are granted a judgement, your credit is trashed more. Even though you probably didn’t have great credit going into this type of loan, you signed a contract and are liable for the debt. Good Luck!
