What happens if we load my car onto the dyno, then I discover a problem which forces the operator to abandon the dyno session?
If you are doing hourly-based dyno rentals, we simply unload the car from the dyno and charge you only for the time used. If you are doing “pulls”, the setup time and teardown time is also the major factor in the “pull” based pricing. If you are just doing pulls, you will be charged the full rate for a pull as the actual pull only takes 3-5 minutes (the other 25 minutes is setup and tear-down time). We must charge for this time because the dyno has a very busy booking schedule and in order to put your vehicle(s) onto the dyno requires scheduling others around your session. We will effort attempt to be reasonable and flexible in situations with extra-ordinary circumstances. However, our policy is that pulls will be charged regardless; as the only possible way that a car, scheduled for just pulls, is not able to do a pull, would be the result of improper preparation prior to coming to the dyno.
