What happens if we don’t reach an agreement in the time frame scheduled?
If the parties are not able to reach an agreement in the time frame scheduled, the NEIGHBOR Project will request the mediator to attend another mediation session with the parties. If the mediator is not available when it is convenient for the parties, the NEIGHBOR Project will find another mediator who will be able to oversee the Mediation. Though this is not ideal, we can work around the change in mediators by having the old and new mediators coordinate with each other for exchange of information.
