The latest cost option model prepared by Tribal HCH (housing consultants) indicates that the estate can be regenerated with a minimal funding gap on the basis of new build of 4,300 homes (including 1,458 social homes). This model does not take into account any Government funding. If Government funding was to become available then this would allow for greater options on the regeneration programme to, for example, reduce overall density of the scheme, increase the number of social homes etc.
