What happens if there is bad weather on the day an event is planned?
We will make every effort to send out notification via the Google Group and our Facebook page if official club events are canceled. In the case of informal pick up games, the organizer will be responsible for determining whether or not the game should take place due to inclement weather. He or she will also be responsible for notifying other participants via the Google Group, phone calls, text messages, or whatever method he or she deems appropriate. “Rain outs” will happen, and unfortunately sometimes there may not be enough time to properly notify everyone that a game or event will not be taking place. We hope that everyone understands this and will refrain from becoming upset if they happen to show up for a game or event and find that it has been canceled.
