What happens if there is a mixture of chemical contaminants and radioactive contaminants on land?
We will be the enforcing authority for remediation of all radioactive contaminated land, including those sites where there is a mixture of radioactive and non-radioactive contamination. However, we expect that where radioactive contamination affects only a small area of larger contaminated land site the radioactive contamination will be identified and dealt with separately.
