What happens if there is a hurricane or tropical storm?
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL – If State or local governmental authorities (not the media) issue a Tropical Storm Warning for the immediate area, to include a Voluntary Evacuation Order or a Hurricane Warning for the immediate area, you will receive a refund of your deposit and any pre-paid rent. If you decide to cancel your reservation without the above orders having been issued, all amounts paid will be forfeited unless the property is re-rented for the same amounts and such amounts clear the bank. AFTER ARRIVAL – If governmental authorities issue the above described orders during your visit and you decide to depart, the pro-rated amounts paid will be refunded within a reasonable time after you depart. Other circumstances and requirements may apply and you will be provided specific details in such event upon arrival, should a Tropical Storm or Hurricane approach the immediate area.
