What happens if there are still funds available when my GiftCards.com™ Visa® Debit Gift Card expires?
We encourage you to use the entire gift amount before the gift card expires. There’s a $7.00 administrative fee to close out the account (or the remaining balance if it’s less than $7.00). If the remaining balance of the gift card is $25.00 or greater after applicable fees, it will be reissued in the form of a new gift card. If the remaining balance is $24.99 or less after applicable fees, the balance would be returned to the recipient by check within six to eight weeks upon written request from the cardholder. Without proper written request, a refund on the gift card will not be honored.
