What happens if the viral program is dormant?
VIP Utility has some capability to handle dormant viral program and knows how to trick it to run. But in some special circumstance if it fails to activate the viral program, VIP Utility cannot determine the inspecting program is a viral or not. In this case, the report generated from the utility is not reliable. It is recommended that user should run VIP Utility multiple times to inspect the program file, and also check with the code structure report file generated from the inspecting process. It is suspicious if the file is from Internet download or email attachment and its code structure file shows something like UPX packed and Winsock usage. The advanced version of VIP Utility will have enhanced feature that can handle dormant viral program better.
