A. Yes, CPIP policies that you are holding will be honored regardless of what causes Alberta prices (or basis levels) to drop. CPIP coverage levels and premiums fluctuate on a daily basis with market conditions, and therefore would likely adjust to new levels in the event of a border closure (but this would not affect policies that you purchased prior to the event).
