What happens if the SCC does not want the responsibility for academic and fiscal planning?

This is not an option. It is the function of this group to develop and participate in the development of and recommendation to the CAS of the academic and budget plan for the school. The CAS and school principal are expected to assist the SCC in exercising this authority. In the event the SCC is remiss or unable to participate then the Superintendent may request the BOE dissolve the SCC and institute an interim SCC.
