What happens if the patient charge is not paid after it is billed through the phone bill?

We re-bill the charge until the full 3-bill cycle is completed. If it remains unpaid after the full billing cycle, there is no consequence to the patient. The only type of charge that will result in disconnection of phone service is non-payment of local phone service charges. If our portion of the bill is not paid, we simply returns the charge to the client for disposition as it sees fit. The client may choose to write the charge off or turn it over to a collection agency.
