All skydiving rigs are equipped with two parachutes (main & reserve) by law. The main parachute is the one that gets used all the time. In the event that the main parachute is malfunctioning, the reserve parachute will be activated. In the event that no main parachute is deployed, all of our rigs are equipped with an automatic activation device (AAD) that will deploy the reserve parachute if you are still in freefall at a certain height.
