What happens if the number of shares held by a shareholder is not a multiple of 12?

Shareholders themselves are responsible for the processing of odd lots (less than 12 old shares). Through the intermediary of their custodial institute, shareholders must purchase additional shares or sell old shares representing odd lots on the market, in order to make up round lots. To facilitate the treatment of odd lots, Rhodia has asked Euronext Paris to continue to list the shares on the stock exchange for a period of 6 months. They were transferred to the Euronext Paris delisted securities compartment as of June 12, 2007, and could be traded until December 12, 2007.
