Freezing can damage the colloidal and Ionic suspension. If a colloidal suspension is allowed to freeze,the suspended particles may precipitate and fall to the bottom. The color should remain a light-silver color after freezing, than the product is still good. If the solution has turned clear, it has preciptated and is no longer usable. Thus, freezing should be avoided.
