If you disconnect the eSATA drive, the TiVo will reboot and give you two options (1) reconnect the drive, or (2) press CLEAR to remove the drive and delete all programs recorded since the external drive was added. If you need to disconnect the eSATA drive, it is recommended that you disconnect the power to the TiVo first.
