What happens if the earths core stops spinning?
The movie “The Core” is total fantasy. It is -not- science fiction. Giant lightning bolts won’t tear bridges apart if the Earth’s magnetic field were to collapse. If someone did build some kind of energy beam that could vaporize anything, all that hot-as-the-sun vaporized rock would blow out as an intensely heated vapor that would have killed everyone in the room when it was fired. And a nuclear bomb is a pimple on an elephant’s behind compared to the core of the Earth. A pimple on a mosquito on an elephant’s behind.
