What happens if the debtor is unable to comply with or carry out the provisions of a plan after it has been confirmed by the court?

If the debtor, or the successor to the debtor under the plan, is unable to comply with the provisions of a confirmed plan, the plan may be amended so that it can be complied with, if sufficient grounds exist for such an amendment. Otherwise, the Chapter 11 case may be dismissed or converted to Chapter 7. If the debtor, or the successor to the debtor under the plan, fails to carry out its obligations under the plan, creditors may sue, or foreclose on the property of, the debtor or its successors either in the bankruptcy court or in other courts.
