What happens if the debtor forgot to list a creditor in their bankruptcy schedules?
Generally debts that are not listed in a debtor’s bankruptcy schedules are not discharged. This means that the debtor will still owe the creditor even after his bankruptcy case is completed. Therefore, the debtor has a MUST list all types and manner of debt, no matter what the source. “Debts” includes any money owed or alleged to be owed to any creditor for any reason.
