What happens if the complaint is found to contain false or frivolous allegations?

0

If the MCHR investigation determines that a complainant knowingly filed a false or frivolous complaint, the complaint will be dismissed and the Commission may refuse to investigate any subsequent complaints filed by the complainant for up to 3 years. Additionally, the Commission may recommend that a monetary sanction be imposed against the complainant and that the complainant be disqualified from bidding and contract awards on State projects for up to 3 years. A complainant may request a contested case hearing if the MCHR investigation determines that the complaint is false or frivolous.
