What happens if the bike is damaged in shipping?
Most minor issues are handled by simply sending you replacement parts. Major issues may need outside assistance. It is critical that you inspect the unit(s) prior to the delivery company leaving to insure no damage occurred during transportation. If a product is damaged in transportation, it is important you note the damage on the driver’s receipt. If the delivery company leaves before you inspect, you may be denied the claim by the freight company. Taking Digital pictures will help (more is better). Take several pictures of the carton and the damage if a digital camera is available. If you receive a carton that is visibly damaged, please note the damages on the shipping receipt. Be sure to obtain a copy. Keep the original carton and all materials and parts intact.
