Run data are stored in a non-volatile E2 ROM chip that does not require a backup battery to hold the measurements. If the battery pack runs out during a measurement then all the results up to the last full minute will be saved and the CEL-350 dBadge will shut down in an orderly fashion and no data will be lost.
