What happens if the Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO) is breached?
If the Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBO) is breached, the Home Office Guidance states “breach of an order without reasonable excuse is a criminal offence triable either way with a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison and a five thousand pound fine”. It is essential that any breach of an order is acted on by the Police.
