What happens if the Air Bag is punctured? Will the lift fall to the ground?
The chances of the Herkules Air Bag becoming punctured are extremely remote since the Air Bag consists of a thick 2-ply rubber composite. If however, a catastrophic event did occur, the lift would simply bleed down in a controlled descent due to its low pressure operation. The damaged Air Bag could then be unscrewed (in most lift models) and a new one installed in a matter of minutes.
