What happens if our team wins 2nd place ($45 registration fee) at a qualifying event and then win 1st place ($25 registration fee) at a later qualifying competition?
The team’s registration fee will be based on their BEST placing finish at a qualifying event. In this situation, the team would pay the 1st Place Bid rate of $25 per participant. If the change in bid status occurs after the team has already sent in their registration to the IALC office, it will be up to the team to communicate their bid status change to the IALC registrations department. When necessary, IALC will issue a refund for overpayment, although the check may not be cut immediately.
