What happens if other team members are not productive, dragging the team down?
The team captains and coaches address this issue and the team manual provides guidelines for conduct. The unique nature of this program requires each person to be proactive and committed to his or her own goals as well as the team effort. The program has been revised to help potential participants determine if they have the required commitment. As mentioned earlier, situations change, and the team liaison’s job is to make sure each team remains healthy. Somtimes a team member has joined the team and really isn’t ready for the success team experience. Such a member needs the opportunity to leave the team without leaving the program. When that member is truly ready for the success team experience they can be assigned to another teams or a new team. If you have a concern, discuss it with your team captain who will know how to find a solution.
