A. If a creditor sells your account to another company, they must notify you in writing. Should you receive notification of this, you must contact our Client Services Department immediately. Client Services will then make the necessary changes to ensure the new creditor is informed of your participation in our Debt Management Program and that your payment is being sent to the correct place.

Your creditors reserve the right to sell credit card portfolios to other banks and/or financial institutions. When this occurs, they generally notify YOU of any change in account number, and the name of the bank which will be handling your credit card. It is imperative that you notify BSI immediately if such a change occurs so that we can update our records appropriately and avoid any delays in the accurate posting of your monthly payments. It is YOUR responsibility to notify BSI of any changes.
