What happens if my product doesn pass the DfE Screen?
Though similar, the criteria to list ingredients in CleanGredients are not necessarily identical to those for the corresponding DfE Screen. This means that, even if your product doesn’t pass the relevant DfE Screen, you may still be able to list it in CleanGredients, provided it meets or exceeds the CleanGredients listing criteria for environmental and human health performance. For this reason, the “DfE Screen” attribute in CleanGredients clearly indicates whether or not each ingredient passes the DfE Screen. To see whether your product is eligible to be listed in CleanGredients, review the listing requirements for your product’s ingredient category.
