What happens if my Outlook mailbox fills up and reaches the 500MB quota?

A. Users will receive warnings when their mailbox quota is close to being reached at 450MB (90%). At 500MB, users will no longer be able to send messages, though emails will continue to be received until a much greater threshold is reached. Users will not be able to send emails until their mailbox is reduced in size to below the 500MB quota again. You can also find out the size of your Outlook mailbox from the Outlook full client by doing the following: Select Go from the Toolbar, then select Folder Size. In the left pane ‘Folder List’ scroll to the end of the Folder List and you will see a link labelled ‘Folder Size’. Click this link and a window showing the total size of your mailbox will appear. Unfortunately it is not possible to find out the size of your Outlook mailbox via Outlook Web Access.
