What happens if my opponent doesn’t show up for a scheduled multiplayer tournament match?
If your opponent does not show up to a scheduled tournament match then you will be automatically be awarded a buy into the next round. In the event of a no show, we ask players to wait at least 30 minutes after the start time of your match before notifying customer support. We all know the Internet is not perfect and sometimes a connection issue is outside of a player’s control. To ensure that tournaments run smoothly, we generally advise players to send their opponents a message through their console and Virgin Gaming as a reminder of the time and place of the scheduled game.
