If your eligible spouse does not elect to receive the monthly lifetime benefit (Option D) and you have another named eligible Member-Survivor (Option D) beneficiary, your named beneficiary will receive the monthly lifetime benefit under 12(2)(d). If your eligible spouse does not elect to receive the monthly lifetime benefit (Option D) and you have not named anyone else as your Member-Survivor (Option D) beneficiary, your annuity savings account will be paid in a lump-sum distribution according your designation of beneficiaries and proportions under 11(2)(c).
