What happens if my Department is unable to meet its 10 percent LSBRP requirement?
All Departments falling under the Procurement laws of Montgomery County are legally required to meet the 10 percent requirement as defined in the County enabling legislation and Executive Regulation Number. Departments are required to track all procurements and to provide justification for all exemptions. While no penalties exist in the legislation, both the County Council and County Executive expect best effort from all Using Departments in meeting the Program’s requirement.
