What happens if my caregiver goes on vacation, gets sick or fails to show up?
We plan for our caregivers’ vacations and arrange for substitutes in advance. We will always discuss these arrangements with you. If a caregiver should call in sick or experience an emergency, we have a list of caregivers who are on 24-hour call to fill in at a moment’s notice. If, in the unlikely event we cannot reach an on-call caregiver, the company owner will fill in himself until a caregiver can arrive. Unexcused no-shows are simply not tolerated at Cobb’s Home Care Services. We maintain a strict ethics policy, and we will deal swiftly with any caregiver who fails to adhere to it.
