What happens if I uninstall Internet Explorer?

If it could be done, which I am unsure is possible, the removal of Internet Explorer would also remove Windows Explorer. Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer are essentially the same program. You would then need a new program in order to be able to view the files on your computer. The reason I say I’m not sure you can install it is that when you use Microsoft’s direction to un-install IE7, you end up with IE6 on your computer. If you don’t like IE, then just don’t use it. Windows 7 will have an option to disable IE, due to the European courts decision against Microsoft.
