What happens if I share projects that contain references to missing audio or MIDI plug-ins?

0

If you open a project from another member that contains a reference to a missing plug-in, Pro Tools, SONAR, or Cubase will open the project and warn you that specified plug-ins are missing. DO NOT delete the missing plug-ins, otherwise other members will not be able to access them. If you get missing audio file messages, ask the last person who updated the project to open the project details screen and click Resynch. Tip: If you create a track that uses third-party audio or MIDI plug-ins, we strongly recommend that you bounce a processed version of the audio to a new track before you save the file. Mute the original track so other members only hear the processed version of your track. The owner of the project can choose to use either the processed version or the unprocessed version of the track during the mastering process. See Tips for sharing projects using eVirtualStudio.
