What happens if I need to cancel a single event or series of events?
The Event Coordinator should inform an host site Intersite Room Booker once an event or session is not required. They should also contact their counterparts at the sites so they are aware that an event or session is not being broadcast. That way the space can be reassigned and technical support redeployed. No-shows will be closely monitored in Resource Scheduler for future planning purposes. If you need to cancel an event requiring VC support within 6 business days, please contact Faculty Liaison King Siu (king.siu@ubc.ca) so that VC technicians can be informed.
